Storyline:
Following the nuking of Everon (you know you saw it first), World War III was started. The Soviets appointed Commander Waskosky to take over what Guba left and to retake Kolgujev, which he quickly did. Now the western world is attempting again to completely eliminate all Soviet forces on Kolgujev, where scuds are known to still exist.

General Information
This is a 17-mission campaign, if you beat every mission. There are missions that you can fail and then play an easier, different mission, usually in those missions you need to radio hotel to abort the mission. This campaign is not as detailed as the actual game, however I did make the missions with more units, and the gameplay is arguably more fun than the 1985 campaign. I departed from the standard foot-soldier-squad-based system to a more impersonal and unique style. I have used slow motion at different times for effect, just so you understand whats going on. There is scoring, just like the regular game, so you can lose the whole campaign if you do bad enough. The types of missions vary widely, and I think I managed to use every song included in the game. At the bottom of this readme I have the cheats, if you're not serious about playing through this thing. Keep in mind the first missions were the first missions I had made, so the campaign just gets better and better, and the 16th mission is freakin awesome.

Hardware requirements
Generally higher than the game. I made the view distance farther in my missions than the regular game, because I expect hardcore gamers, such as myself, to have higher-end systems. Here's my setup:
850 mhz Athlon overclocked to 952 on a KT7A motherboard.
786 RAM
Voodoo 5 (running the game in Glide with no shadows)
I run the game at 1280x1024, with the visual quality slider all the way up. If your like me, you want more out of the game, so I found out if you go into your user specific .cfg, you can decrease the visualquality number from .005 (maximum in-game visual quality) down, and at 0 you completely remove object LODs (highest possible detail). I get a great frame rate in the game (I think increasing the maxframerate number in that same file helps), which leads me to discuss:

My tweak for improving frame rate
For me, it seemed like on missions with a lot going on, the frame rate was very slow. I turned up the file_heap and texture_heap numbers in the flashpoint.cfg file beyond the normal game preferences maximum of 16 (max for each). I have texture_heap at 31, because the game doesn't start when I set it at 32, and file_heap is at 50 because that doesn't make the game freeze. Increasing these numbers really helped my framerate. E-mail me if I'm sounding like an idiot here.

Mission specific notes (spoilers?)
1- I originally just made this mission to see how fun it would be, and it actually inspired me to create the whole campaign since mission making is so easy.
2- I probably shouldn't have done a "stealth" mission but this is probably better than normal stealth missions because I intend for the player to kill all the enemies.
3- If it doesn't end, just hover low and let your gunner machine gun all the infantry.
4- On afterthought, probably the dumbest mission I made, so if its bothering you, you can radio hotel and fail.
8- I wanted to capture how fun it is to drive a tank down a hill, so I had to make a mission around it - just watch out for the forests.
10- If you succeed in defending the base, the next mission will be easier.
13- Buildings finally utilized!
14- The only normal mission in the campaign.
15- A lot of things can happen in this mission and I intended for it to be hard.
16- My favorite mission, I knew this could be done and I think I implemented it quite well. Depending on whether you beat the preceding mission, you may or may not get Golf squad. I actually prefer Golf squad over the black ops to take out the shilkas. One more thing: the hinds can be taken out with a M1A1 if you are commanding it.

Cheats
If you can't beat a mission, or lose or whatever, press "-" on the numpad and then type "endmission". And if you admit your a loser, or beat this thing, at the campaign screen, you can press "-" on the numpad and type "campaign" to reveal all the missions.

If theres any problems with this campaign, please e-mail me and I'll keep on updating it.
If you plan on doing editing, you should probably not use the editorupgrade addon - its been only a burden to me, atleast.
